WHERE: Tybee Island, Georgia - Beach, south of the Tybee Pier, near 18th Street Access.

WHEN: Meet at 9:00am for check-in and boat inspection. Surfing will start at 10:00am and go until approx 4:00pm.

COST: $35.00 entry fee. Registration required. 

CATEGORIES: You may sign up for a maximum of 3 categories.

Novice: Participants who have competed in two or less competitions.

Sit-On-Top Tandem: Teams of two. (SC&K Tandems will be used.)

Sea Kayak:  Any sea worthy sea kayak over 15 feet in length.

Open - Men: Any surfable sea worthy kayak or ski under 12 feet in length.

Open - Women: Any surfable sea worthy kayak or ski under 12 feet in length.

THINGS TO KNOW: Lunch will be provided. Bring water, shade, rain wear..etc.. for a full day on the beach. Award ceremony at Huc A Poos at 5:00 pm. We will have some S.O.T.'s to rent for the event. If you feel like trying your hand at some good old surf yakin' but do not have a vessel, let us know and we can help you out. We will provide all Sit-On-Top Tandems for the Tandem category.

WHAT ELSE: This event aims squarely at introducing people to the realm of surf kayak competing. It is meant to be supportive of all surfing abilities. This is not a qualifying event, nor will any points be gained from participating in it. 

DIRECTIONS: Coming on Hwy 80 from Savannah, make a left onto Tybrisa St.  Continue to the Strand Parking Lot between Tybrisa and 18th St.  The exact location for the event will be decided on the morning of... somewhere between the red X's.
