MEGA MAVERICK HDP

Based upon the very successful Intruder and Mustang, the Maverick's
performance is excellent. Fast, tight carving turns with great drive
back up the face of the wave. Down the
line speed is awesome! Outfitting includes: three fin boxes, triple
laminate foam pillars, molded seat with foam butt pad insert, adjustable
back strap, adjustable thigh braces, toggle ties and foot blocks.
"With its classic highly rocked bow it was no trouble at all
to paddle out through the breaking surf skimming up and over the biggest
white wave faces with ease. Once out beyond the break the Maverick was
quick to move about in, this kayak maintains good boat speed essential in
the surfing environment." - Simon Hammond,
World Surf Kayak Champion
This kayak has some great design features including
three well positioned fins, a sharp rail from the centre of the boat all
the way to the tail and a beautifully rigid and wide hull which gives this
kayak all the speed and stability you could wish for.
This is a versatile surf kayak suitable for a wide variety of sizes and
abilities.
Flatter rocker for
speed and stability. Fishtail ideally suited to small waves and radical
moves. Medium rails are forgiving and suited to all types of
surfing.

MEGA X-RAY HDP

We love this boat. It's an exciting ,
quick and very responsive kayak. Responds instantly to trim control and
is super slashy in the tail. The X-Ray is aimed at the smaller guys, ladies, juniors.
Significantly different from the Maverick, it is more orientated towards
playboat type moves due to its low volume ends.
Based upon the Revenge composite kayak the X-Ray 2005
has been tweaked and scaled up for production in High Density
Polyethylene to produce a truly superb hard core surf kayak. 6 footers
and cake eaters may have a problem getting
in and out, but once you squeeze in you'll be tail slashing until the
tide goes out.
This
is a no compromise surf machine. Hard rails, razor sharp secondary
release chine. 3 fin boxes, composite seat and hull stiffener. Outfitted with high density,
triple laminate mini cell pillars, fabric
covered foam seat, adjustable back strap and aluminum toggle/leash
mounts. Affordability without sacrificing performance. High Density
Polyethylene offers robust, yet rigid construction for all environments.
Medium rocker for great maneuverability. Low rails hold cutbacks longer and turns really tight.

MEGA NEUTRON HDP

With the flat hull low rails and power pocket rear this
boat is super fast. It offers the smoothest flowing ride on mellow waves, the ability to
grip a wave like mad when things get bigger, speed that will alter your
perception on life and carving ability so tight and so smooth you will
feel like your surfing .....a super grippy smooth thing!
"The hull is flat to maximize speed,
an accentuated constant curve down the rail line to enable drawn out
carves or sharp aggressive directional shifts, and soft into hard rails to
engage the water and surf the boat from the tail. The fins are positioned
directly below the seating position giving the best possible drive from
the turn, and their rearward position means that the boat still feels
exceptionally loose.
The deck is a real departure from previous designs with a large lump
behind the cockpit to give extra buoyancy particularly useful when
paddling out to avoid the inevitable back loops of low volume tails. The
greatest revolution with this kayak though is without doubt the seating
position, it’s dynamic in its orientation being in the rear third of the
boat, and it’s comfortable, with an elevated knee position offering a
far more freestyle feel to the boat.
- Glyn Brackenbury, BCU Coach Level 5 Surf
"I was very interested to try out the plastic version to
see how it compares to the composite design, and also to the other plastic
surf kayaks, the Maverick and the X-ray.
Of the other plastic boats, I find the Maverick is fast down the line
and the X-Ray highly maneuverable. For me, the new design of the Neutron
feels right and does both even better. For you, the good news is that
there's a real choice in plastic surf kayaks now. Try them and find which
suits you."
- Philip Watson, England Team Junior
