CAMPING

1 night, 2 nights, 3 nights, or the whole week...the whole
coast if you like. Let us plan and organize your Georgia Coast Kayak Adventure.
Tides, weather, campsites, food, gear...we love this kind of thing. Or, maybe
you want to do all the ground work and just need a person with good local
knowledge...a Guide.
We run three types of extended trip programs..
ISLANDS EXPLORATION:
These trips are the next step
up from a full day trip and are designed for any skill level.
The emphasis of these trips is relaxation and learning a little
more about the coast's history, flora, and fauna. They are fully
catered and equipped, with all boats, gear, and food provided.
All you need to provide are your personal items and a sleeping
bag. Trips may be overnight to three nights in length. We run
islands exploration trips to Little Tybee, Sapelo, and
Cumberland Islands.

OVERNIGHT
ON LITTLE TYBEE ISLAND
With
over 40 miles of waterways, Little Tybee is a somewhat deceiving
name. It's 4 miles of Atlantic beaches are home to no one but an
awesome array of wildlife. We will spend the first day
paddling through the middle of L.T.'s salt marsh to a beach camp on the
southern end. Some late afternoon beachcombing, grilled dinner under the
stars, and an evening around the campfire make for the perfect day. After
breakfast and coffee at sun up, it's a relatively lazy paddle back to
civilization. Although
times vary according to tidal conditions, this trip extends from early
morning on the first day through midday of the second. All boats, gear,
and meals provided. A
great weekend getaway! - $195 per person

SAPELO ISLAND
ADVENTURE
Want to experience something unique? Sapelo Island is,
in our opinion, one of the most interesting places on the east
coast. It is a sub-tropical island paradise that has been
home simultaneously to millionaires, scientists,
agriculturalists, slaves, and Native Americans. Charles Lindbergh landed
his plane on the beach on several occasions. The history of this place is intense and continues to play out today. All
boats, gear, and meals provided. Please call for rates.

CUMBERLAND ISLAND
ADVENTURE
Meet at St Mary's. Over seventeen miles of beach makes Cumberland
the longest of the Georgian islands. It is the only stretch that is designated
National Seashore. Great hiking trails cover most of
this very beautiful jungle wilderness. On route to our base campsite, we
stop for lunch at the palatial Plum Orchard Mansion. On the second day we will have the option of paddling around
Little Cumberland Island to Christmas Creek. One full
day will be given to hiking and island exploration. The last morning is spent breaking camp and paddling back. All
boats, gear, and meals provided. 3
days - $375 per person

FAST & LITE TRIPS: These trips are
designed for those looking for the next step from instruction, with a
future desire to undertake their own self-guided kayak adventures. These
are fully guided and instructional based trips for paddlers with a basic
foundation of paddling skills, but lacking in kayak camping experience. More ground is covered and clients are
expected to get involved with the in field decision making and trip
planning. We use Little Tybee as our training ground, during which time
we will attempt to circumnavigate the island. This program is not
recommended for those just starting out in the sport of sea kayaking.
These trips are self-catered. 2 days/1 night - $225.00 per
person

COASTAL EXPEDITION
TRIPS:
These trips are designed for
accomplished paddlers with their own equipment who are looking for a
more challenging adventure or need the expertise of a local guide. Much
of the paddling is done on the open ocean, in all conditions, and
greater distances are covered. They usually follow the formula of
hopping from island to island. Coastal Expedition trips are
self-catered. We supply the guide and the bulk of the trip planning.
Boats, gear, and tents can be rented as needed.
**GA Coast
Expedition - Run every November. 6 places available. Cost $595.
If you have an interest in learning about the more remote areas of the GA Coast, and
are a somewhat accomplished paddler, this is the adventure for
you.

"Our trip was MORE then we expected in every
way!! The dolphins, salt marsh, bonus alligator... made it a trip to
remember! Nigel was an excellent guide, and we appreciate his knowledge
and expertise - as well as his awareness of ours! I've never camped on a
deserted island before, and it was a wonderful experience. " - Donna and
